Hey! I’m Kelley, Actor, Director, Pole Dancer, Fencer, Performance Combatant, Life Model, Adventurer, & Pirate.  (And yes, I’m also Autistic).

Okay, maybe not so much a pirate anymore because along with everything else I do, I’ve now turned my hand to voiceovers! I like new challenges and continually strive to be the best and most versatile performer I can be. This may seem odd because some Autistics need a solid routine as it gives them a sense of control. I’ve had very little routine in my life, so am good at adapting on the fly.

And, while most actors like to present a well-honed solid brand, I kinda think of myself as a box of Crayola Crayons with a rainbow of experience and skills to bring a deeper contrast to the characters I play (instead of just some pencil shadings).

“Acting is not about being famous, it’s about exploring the human soul.”

- Annette Benning

I started out in classical theatre, playing many Shakespearean roles (including Ophelia, Olivia, Lady Macbeth, and Beatrice). As time went on, I became more enamoured of film and television work. With no real training in the media, I chose to learn how film and television productions worked by doing some supporting artist work. I learned a great deal by watching some amazing actors at work, while earning some money enhancing the scenes in which I appeared. I will be forever grateful for the lessons I learned there and for the generosity of the directors, actors and actresses I had the honour to support.

Having done some smaller film roles (Einstein’s Mother in Genius, a crime boss in Blade of the Assassin, and a Shady Marketing Manager in 22-88), I’m now I’m looking for new challenges in all media including film, television, voiceover, and theatre.

Cheers,

Kelley
