Hey! I’m Kelley, Actor, Director, Voice Over Artist, Mocap Performer, Pole Dancer, Fencer, Performance Combatant, Adventurer, & Pirate.

Okay, maybe not so much a pirate anymore because along with everything else I do, I’ve had a turn at some stunt training (but sadly, my shoulder will no longer allow me to pursue this)! I like new challenges & continually strive to be the best & most versatile performer I can be.

While most actors like to present a well-honed solid brand, I kinda think of myself as a box of Crayola Crayons with a rainbow of experience & skills to bring a deeper contrast to the characters I play (instead of just some pencil shadings).

“Acting is not about being famous, it’s about exploring the human soul.”

- Annette Benning

I started out in classical theatre, playing many Shakespearean roles (including Ophelia, Olivia, Lady Macbeth, & Beatrice). As time went on, I became more enamoured of film & television work. With no real training in the media, I chose to discover how film & television productions worked by appearing as a supporting artist. I learned a great deal by watching some amazing actors at work, while earning some money enhancing the scenes in which I appeared. I will be forever grateful for the lessons I learned there & for the generosity of the actors & actresses I had the honour to support.

Having done some smaller film roles (Einstein’s Mother in Revelation: The Story of Albert Einstein (AKA Genius), a Secret Agent in Voices, and a Shady Marketing Manager in 22-88), I’m now I’m looking for new challenges in all media including film, television, & theatre. Pre-pandemic, I played a school teacher in Rural Media’s It’s Kushti to Rokker - Being Me, and completed filming on Blade of the Assassin, in which I play big baddie, May (still in post-production).

In the recent past, I’ve revisited Edgar Allan Poe for a staged reading performance of Creepy Tales for Halloween and done some voice acting work for another Alternative Stories Podcast - a dystopian version of Pinocchio in which I played Dr Cat Antonio and voiced the role of Mother in a short film by Matt Shaw (Purgatory Pictures). I have also returned to Shakespeare, playing Puck in Greyfriars in Worcester.

I am currently self-represented and can be contacted here.

Cheers,

Kelley
